What to check before you buy an older edition.
Can I use an older BNTA book?
This is a Finance Act-tied tax unit: editions are valid for one calendar year of assessments only. The current Finance Act 2025 editions cover exams from January to December 2026. An out-of-year tax edition has the wrong rates and thresholds - always match the edition to your assessment year. Note: the Q2022 Level 4 diploma is being replaced from September 2026 (last Q2022 assessments July 2028), so check which syllabus you're enrolled on before buying.
