Can I use an older TPFB book?
This is a Finance Act-tied tax unit: editions are valid for one calendar year of assessments only. The current Finance Act 2025 editions cover exams from January to December 2026. An out-of-year tax edition has the wrong rates and thresholds - always match the edition to your assessment year.
Always double-check the edition against your exam sitting before buying. When in doubt, AAT's official syllabus documents are free and definitive.
