Can I use an older ATX book?
Like TX, ATX is rewritten annually for the Finance Act and a book is only valid for its FA year. Finance Act 2025 editions are examinable from June 2026 to June 2027 (ACCA's official window; some Kaplan covers print March 2027). An out-of-window ATX book has the wrong rates, allowances and reliefs - don't risk it.
Always double-check the edition against your exam sitting before buying. When in doubt, ACCA's official syllabus documents are free and definitive.
