Can I use an older TX book?
TX is rewritten every year for the new Finance Act, and a book is only valid for its FA year - the wrong edition means the wrong tax rates and allowances. Finance Act 2025 editions are examinable from June 2026 to June 2027 (ACCA's official window; some Kaplan covers print March 2027). Never buy an out-of-window TX book, however cheap.
Always double-check the edition against your exam sitting before buying. When in doubt, ACCA's official syllabus documents are free and definitive.
