Can I use an older SQE2 book?
SQE2 tests practical skills (advocacy, interviewing, drafting, research, writing) across the FLK subjects, so it leans less on dedicated textbooks - most candidates reuse their SQE1 library plus an SQE2-specific skills guide. Edition currency matters less for skills books; the underlying legal knowledge should still be checked against the current SRA specification.
